Topic Ideas

You should choose a topic that is interesting to you and that has some relationship to the human experience or social justice causes. Make sure there are at least 5 datasets available related to your topic. Below are some topic ideas. You can definitely choose something not from this list, but each student’s choice will be confirmed by your teacher.

Think of specific angles and all of the factors that could influence mental health (geography, gender, socioeconomic status, race/ethnicity, etc.)

Think of specific angles and various factors of influence.

5 / Sports

Must relate to a human context (eg. gender equality) or broader event in country or world.

6 / Gender Inequity

Think of specific areas (employment, income inequality, education, etc.)

7 / Systemic Racism

Think of specific areas (health care, policing, employment, education, housing, income inequalities, etc.)

8 / AI Impacts

Think of specific areas (jobs, environment, money etc.)
