Why should I book a research appointment?

Whether you'd like help getting started with your research; finding primary, secondary, or reference sources; using the library's databases; evaluating web sources; or writing your citations, we can help! These appointments give you the opportunity to sit down with a librarian one-on-one so we can give you our undivided attention.

How long will my research appointment be?
​
Research appointments are 15 to 25 minutes long.

Is there anything else I should do when I book an appointment?
​
When you book your appointment, you will fill out a form about your topic, your reason for booking a research appointment (e.g. citation help, finding a primary source, and so on), and a short description of any research you've done so far. That's it!

Where should I go for my appointment?

Come to the library desk at the time of your appointment.
