In addition to the rules outlined in the BB&N Student Handbook, students using the library and Quiet Room are expected to adhere to the following policies:

Circulation Policies:

Books may be checked out for three weeks at a time.

Students may renew their loans as long as no one else is waiting for the item.

There is no limit to the number of books a student may check out.

Behavioral Policies:

To avoid distracting others, students must use headphones or earbuds to listen to any audio, including in the library's study rooms.

In order to avoid mess and pests, please clean up after yourselves.

Talking is not allowed in the Quiet Room in order to maintain a silent work environment.

Students should sit one person per chair.

Masks are optional.

Technology Policies:

BB&N is a one-to-one school. If a student forgets their laptop or charger, or if it is being repaired, they may borrow a library laptop or charger for academic purposes for the length of one block.

Students assume full responsibility for any device or technological equipment that they check out until they return it in person to a librarian.

Students may not take a laptop or other device out of the library without the permission of a librarian.

If a student loses or damages any part of any library's technological equipment, they may be required to pay for repairs or replacement costs.
-
Students who violate any terms of the Almy Library Technology Use Agreement may lose technology borrowing privileges for a period of time.
