Chicago Manual of Style
The Almy Library recommends two resources to aid in your citations. Purdue University's The Purdue OWL and the official Chicago Manual of Style website.
Check out Purdue University's free resource Purdue OWL. This resource is free and therefore does contain advertisements. You can X out of the ads or use their presentation-mode feature which allows for 45 minutes of ad free use. Click here to use the ad free version.
This is another free online resource. The citation quick guide provides examples of different Chicago format. Pay close attention to Author-Date format vs. Notes and Bibliography. The two are different.
